As a pianist and composer, Sasha has performed internationally at venues such as the Tanglewood Music Festival, Laredo Music Festival, and chamber concerts across the U.S. His recordings, including Dreams and Improvisations of Nikolai Medtner and Ich denke dein, have received critical acclaim for their artistry and innovation.
A passionate collaborator, Sasha has led projects like the Sasha Burdin Quartet, the DuoArt violin-piano initiative, and Global Art Bridges, blending diverse musical traditions. His composition Three Aspects of MA premiered at Piano Spheres in Los Angeles, showcasing his visionary creativity.
Sasha’s dedication to education spans university faculty roles and private instruction. His teaching philosophy, influenced by Forrest Kinney’s “Create First” approach, emphasizes creativity, technical mastery, and adaptability. He has guided students to notable achievements, including performances at Carnegie Hall.
